We recently hosted some Valentine Mini Sessions at the Pink Pineapple studio in Keller. We had 12 kids total ranging in age from one to five years. All of them were adorable in their outfits from Pickled Pink Boutique. Their adorable clothes combined with the fantastic decor provided by Pink Pineapple made for amazing sessions. Below are a sampling of of my favorite images from the sessions. I had such a blast and can’t wait to do it again!
The beautiful Pesca family invited me to take pictures of their family and friends at the gorgeous Vaquero Golf Club in Westlake. The scenery there was fabulous and they all looked amazing. I have to admit, not having ever been to Vaquero before, I was a bit nervous walking into this session. To add another layer… this session was the first time I’d ever met the family in person and for an introvert, those two things together can make your stomach start to do flips! But after a short survey of the grounds (which were beyond gorgeous) and meeting this sweet and down to earth family, it became easy to relax. My only regret was that I didn’t get to stay longer! I honestly feel like I could have spent at least another hour just palling around with these beautiful people. That being said, we did get some amazing shots and I’m proud to show them off to you. Enjoy!
Miss Holstyn celebrated her first birthday with me back in November. I can’t believe I’m this behind getting this session blogged! She was an absolute cutie. Always smiling and happy. And I’m not exaggerating that. She smiled ALL the time and easily too.
Holstyn started her session off with some fun family pictures. A sample of my favs are below. After that, we had the most adorable cake smash “boho” style setup followed by what else than a bubble bath! Babies are seriously so fun!
A big shout out to all my Christmas themed mini session families this year! We had a great time finding reindeer, searching for Santa’s sleigh in the wee hours of the morning and creating some fun Christmas shenanigans. Already looking forward to next year!
The Burkhalter crew trekked all the way out to this gorgeous spot in McKinney and we got some lovely shots. It was a little wild and crazy but what shoot with little kids isn’t at some point? Bottom line is we had fun and got some great shots. Adriana and Eric looked stunning in their attire and those boys… the suits! I just LOVE little boys in suits. Don’t you?! Hello cuteness overload! And who could outshine sweet Miss EB in her pretty pink dress with that seriously grown up hairstyle? Love those shoes EB! ;)
This is the Teng family! Full of life and fun, these sweeties are a hoot! We had a great time playing around at their session in Keller. Their children, Foster and Elliot, are full of life and happiness. They are just a joy to be around. I love seeing their little personalities and smiles.
I hope you enjoy looking at their images. Can’t wait to catch you next year Tengs’!
This girl I’ve nicknamed (in my head) “Beautiful Baylee.” She’s such a natural beauty with a heart of gold. Easy to like and talk to, I had a great time during her session. We decided to bum around the stockyards because BB (beautiful Baylee) like a more rustic feel. Well, we definitely got that. What’s your favorite pic? I think mine is the green door.
The Luckett family session was amazing. Great location. Beautiful weather. Well, ok if I’m being honest it was a tad cold. But the skies were clear and we had a gorgeous sunrise to work with. Ah… I just love it when mother nature plays nice for a session. It’s almost like God is like “Yes, I’m happily going to grant you snobby photographer person superb lighting.” Haha. Wow. That sounds totally vein and self-centered of me doesn’t it? It does speak to how excited I get when “the stars align”. Ok, I digress.. so…
This beautiful family brought their four children out for Mom’s Christmas present… a photoshoot. I just LOVE it. When my kids grow up, I want a family picture just like theirs. Kevin? You taking notes?? Enjoy viewing their images!
Jack’s session was beyond fun. We had the first part of his session in traditional senior style and bummed around Downtown Keller. We got some really cool shots in that series but I think the one if front of the wooden wall is my fav. The second part of his session is where things really got interesting. Jack is a member of the Civil Air Patrol and we decided to highlight that at the Denton airport. It was stinkin’ cold that morning and although I’m pretty sure my fingers went numb at some point… it was TOTALLY worth it. See below and tell me what you think!
I’ve had a few people as how I made this my kids for Halloween pic this year. Below is the basic run down. I took individual pics of my kids on a white background with two lights on them. One light was to their right and another was just behind them to the left.
